We have a pool in our back yard and we love to swim when the weather is sunny. Our dad taught us to swim and we love to swim. Actually we love everything about the water. We love to pretend we are riding on a boat. We love to pretend that we are a fish swimming for freedom.
We love to pretend that we are pirates and the pool is our private lagoon. My brother can swim about ten feet. I can swim about 12 feet. We would never go into the pool without our dad watching us. Our dad would take away our toys and grounded if we are in the pool without him present.
Our dad told us that a pool is a fun place, but it can be a dangerous place for kids. He loves us that is why he wants us to be safe. We love our dad very much too and we love our toys too much to be taken away.
Anyhow, we have this pegasus horse in our pool and we treat it like our pet.
It is as white as snow and it has these shining golden wings. It is one of the best pet that we ever had. We don’t have to feed it. We don’t have to take it to the doctor. All we have to do is play with it. I hope someday it will fly and take us to Seattle.
These are fond memories of my childhood. Playing in the pool. Playing with my brother. Sharing my toys with my brother. The summer is over and we have very few hot days. I will miss my pool. I listen to my dad and would never go in the pool without supervision. I love summer time.
